Title: AudoDJ not working on new install
Post by: trumpetradio on June 01, 2018, 10:34:01 am
Ok, I have CC installed on an AWS EC2 Ubuntu 16.0.4.

I installed LiquidSoap autodj and it seems to work, except that it doesn't work......

So, I have enabled AutoDJ, uploaded media, and put them in playlist.  But, when I start the server no tracks actually play, and after a few seconds the server goes offline.

Can anyone help me with this?

If you need more details feel free to ask.

Hello trumpetradio,

Unfortunately, the Liquidsoap binary provided by Debian (and by extension Ubuntu) is currently broken, due to a bug that causes the ID3 library to crash.

Our developers are already working on a workaround, however, due to the complexity of Liquidsoap, it may take a few weeks to have a working Liquidsoap build.

Regards.

I see.

Thank you for the response. I guess I will just have to wait till it gets fixed. Or, is there another option for AutoDJ besides LiquidSoap?

Also, will I have to reinstall LiquidSoap once the bug is fixed? Or just update it?

Have you tried sc_trans2 ?

Yes, but it requires an MP3 code, and it seems those are no longer for sale.

Or, is there a way to get one still?
