Title: Crossfade
Post by: ibhope on November 11, 2012, 01:44:01 pm
What is the best crossfade time in second to set for a radio station without using too much CPU;one that is  tight and does not fade in any audio?

Personally, I use ZERO cross fading. And the reason was simple;
It didn't cross fade at all. All it did was fade out the current song,
then a short pause to start the next track. If your tracks are already
trimmed it does nothing and may even sound worse.  8)

Crossfade at 5 secs
Crossmix at 1
Make sure your tracks are at least 10 seconds long

would be nice, if centova identify silence in the tracks, something below -25db, and jump to another track
